Hello Friend!
Welcome to my World of Artistic Expression
My name is Frankie, and I am a Colorado native. I was raised to cherish the outdoors, eat lots of vegetables, work hard, breathe deeply, and to keep an open heart when faced with adversity. I endeavor to connect with nature through gardening and beekeeping and have a deep fondness for animals. This website is intended to share my love for pursuing creative expression, showcasing my artistic projects and promoting the importance of self-care and mental health.
In 2020, when the world slowed down, I was sternly faced with mental health challenges regarding my diagnosis of bipolar disorder, ADHD, and chronic depressive disorder, that revealed a dire need for change in regulation. I had been doing it on my own for 25 years and had always assumed doing it well, but it was time for a change. I desired to create more, connect more, with myself and nature, in a more vulnerable and intentional way. I was drawn to working with natural and recycled fibers and other materials, because I love our natural Earth. Through sustainable weaving I found peace and balance I hadn’t experienced in years. I was expressing myself creatively, finding an inner artist I had long thought lost, and making use of what may otherwise be turned to a landfill. And thus, Harvest Loom was created.
Harvest Loom was born in routine as a means to hold myself accountable through vulnerability, connect with like-minded individuals, practice mindfulness, and share my process with the world. This platform is a safe space to normalize isolated emotions and share products created from the depths of my soul. Each piece has its own unique story, so please inquire if you’re curious to learn more!
Carefully curating each piece, I strive to collaborate with and support small business owners, work with natural & organic products, and adorn with highlights of ethically sourced, recycled, and repurposed materials. There is art in everything that we do, I hope my message inspires you to bring more gratitude, patience, healing and inspiration into your world. Thanks for stopping by.
